The Influence of Teachers Idol

Teacher’s idol for students cannot be denied can increase the effectiveness of the process of learning activities, other than that can motivate students to learn. A teacher idol has emotional attachment with their students.

Teachers existence idol important as a motivator for students,  especially to improve learning motivation and can make students interested in following learning activities undertaken by teachers idol. Teacher’s idol has an impact on the emotional relationship and encourage a sense of students' personal love and the subject matter presented.

Some attributes of personal competence which should be developed by teachers idol is
The attractiveness of the personality, the extent to which the behavior of the teacher both in words and actions attract the attention of students to teach appeal began neatness in appearance, intellectual capacity, scientific competence, expertise educate, have achievements in the profession or field of knowledge they have and appreciate each individual student.

The attractiveness of learning, to what extent has the idol teacher pedagogical competence and academic competencies that can make learning to be more qualified with a variety of methods and learning strategies as well as easily absorbed by the students. Cannot forget the appeal of learning is a blend of science competence, expertise educate, student recognition and confidence of students to the teacher.

 Emotional attachment between students and teachers should be able to boost the spirit idol students in achieving their academic achievement both in academic and non-academic. The ability of teachers to be able to have emotional attachment with students starting from the awareness of the duties and functions of teachers as educators, personal competence and the impression gained on the behavior of the teacher student.
